Disposable Subdermal (Paired) Needle Electrodes Color Coding for Paired Subdermal Needle Electrodes With Rhythmlink’s Paired Subdermal Needle Electrodes, having 20 different color combinations can help with quick electrode placement and easy identification. Rhythmlink offers a choice of two color groups. Group 1 pairs a black or white leadwire is matched with one of five colors [red, blue, yellow, green or orange] to give you 10 electrode pair color combinations. Similarly, Color Group 2 pairs a black or white leadwire with five other colors [gray, brown, pink, blue or purple], doubling the number of available electrode pair color combinations. With 20 different color combinations to choose from, you can create a fairly complex color-coding system. For example, all Subdermal Needle Electrodes paired with a white leadwire can correspond with the right side of the body, and all those paired with a black leadwire can correspond with the left side of the body [white=right and black=left]. Furthermore, Subdermal Needle Electrodes with a green leadwire could be linked to a specific anatomical site, the gastrocnemius, for example [green=gastrocnemius]. Using this system, one can easily identify the green/white Paired Electrode as being placed in the right gastrocnemius without having to check its actual location.
